Job Description

As a Legal Advisor at Law Corporation, you will provide expert legal advice and support, ensuring compliance with South African law. You will work closely with clients, assessing legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them while fostering strong business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Advise on mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property rights, and other business transactions.
• Ensure the firm’s compliance with laws and regulations across jurisdictions.
• Implement and oversee compliance programs and policies for clients.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss legal strategies and potential solutions.
• Conduct negotiations on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or higher
• Master’s in Law is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in a corporate or commercial setting

Certifications

• Certified Compliance Officer
• Legal Practice Course (LPC)
