Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our Pretoria team. You will be responsible for assessing and mitigating risks related to information security, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and safeguarding sensitive information across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and compliance with regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity.
• Implement security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
• Document procedures and updates for security policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of the organization.
• Lead security awareness campaigns to educate employees about cybersecurity practices.
• Respond to and investigate security breaches and incidents thoroughly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in a cybersecurity-related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a cybersecurity role with extensive IT experience

• Firewall Management

Certifications

• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
