We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various construction projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations. You will coordinate with stakeholders and manage project timelines to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee construction of infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, and buildings.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to meet completion deadlines.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and city officials on project scope and timelines.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of project progress and budgets.
• Resolve any issues that arise during construction and ensure all stakeholders are informed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree preferred, especially in a specialized engineering field

Experience

• 5+ years’ experience with extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles
