We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, system analysis, and project management, contributing to diverse engineering projects that push the boundaries of innovation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve engineering processes.
• Create and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and project bids.
• Coordinate with clients to define project specifications and requirements.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans to meet objectives.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• PDM Software

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
