Job Description

As a Transporter, you will play a crucial role in the transportation industry, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across various locations. This role requires you to operate vehicles like trucks, vans, or delivery cars, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule all transport activities efficiently.
• Oversee loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Monitor and track shipments using electronic systems effectively.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery processes.
• Train and mentor junior Transporters as needed.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and workshops.
• Stay updated with local road networks and traffic regulations.
• Ensure all deliveries meet the company’s quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial driving and transportation.

Technical Skills

• Valid driver's license
• Vehicle maintenance knowledge

Certifications

• Professional Driver's Permit (PDP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
