Responsibilities

• Lead surgical teams and assist in complex surgical procedures.

• Train and supervise junior staff and volunteers.

Requirements

Education

• DVM along with specialized training in surgery or emergency medicine is preferred
• Certification in Animal Behavior Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a veterinary practice setting, with a focus on surgery or exotic animal medicine
