Pharmacist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated pharmacist to contribute to our mission of enhancing community health in Durban. You'll work closely with patients, offering advice on medications and health products, while ensuring all practices comply with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and legality.
• Advise patients on over-the-counter medication options.
• Implement strategies to improve medication adherence.
• Participate in health promotion activities and health fairs.
• Liaise with medical staff regarding patient medication management.
• Train and mentor pharmacy staff on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
• Additional training in clinical pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in retail pharmacy

• English: Fluent
