DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. You will be responsible for automating and streamlining operations and processes while ensuring the stability of our cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
• Improve system monitoring and alerting to increase uptime.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Work with teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct post-mortem analyses on incidents to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant certifications preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles

• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages
