Job Description

We're looking for an ambitious Investment Banker to join our Cape Town office. You will play a key role in executing transactions, managing client relationships, and working collaboratively across teams to deliver comprehensive financial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of transactions from origination through to closing.
• Conduct financial analysis, risk assessment, and deal structuring.
• Assist in preparing detailed pitch materials for client meetings.
• Maintain strong client relationships and a thorough understanding of their business.
• Utilize various financial instruments to meet client objectives.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and market dynamics.
• Evaluate and enhance internal processes to streamline operations.
• Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts for business development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics
• Master's in Finance is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of investment banking experience preferred

• Valuation Techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Deal Structuring: Proven experience in structuring M&A deals and financing transactions.
