We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a commitment to providing high-quality veterinary services. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and treating various animal ailments while also providing preventative care and guidance to pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Examine animals and diagnose health issues.
• Perform surgery and emergency care as required.
• Advise pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition.
• Monitor animal health and communicate changes to the team.
• Engage in ongoing education and training.
• Assist with the training of veterinary interns and staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Perform laboratory tests and interpret results.
• Coordinate with external specialists as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a veterinary environment

• Certified Veterinary Practitioner

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
