Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be involved in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems. You will be working collaboratively with other engineers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design reviews and project presentations.
• Participate in safety and quality audits of engineering projects.
• Assist in sourcing and selecting mechanical components and materials.
• Use CAD software to create detailed design drawings and specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in mechanical design or related fields

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
