Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Diversity and Inclusion Specialist to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating diversity and inclusion initiatives. You'll work closely with various departments to foster a culture of inclusivity and ensure that diverse voices are integrated into the fabric of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the internal diversity advisory council.
• Facilitate discussions and training workshops for employees.
• Research and benchmark diversity best practices from other organizations.
• Monitor diversity statistics and recommend improvements.
• Engage in community outreach to enhance company visibility and connections.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote our diversity initiatives externally.
• Analyze employee feedback to improve inclusion strategies.
• Support managers in building diverse teams.
• Encourage student engagement through internship and mentorship programs.
• Develop comprehensive communication around our diversity goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Sociology
• Master's degree is a strong plus

Experience

• Experience working in South African diversity framework is preferred
