Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rolling Machine Setter to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining roll forming machinery to ensure high-quality production.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll forming machines following production schedules.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to standards.
• Conduct routine checks on machinery and report any malfunctions.
• Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles.
• Prepare reports on production performance and issues.
• Ensure all safety measures are enforced in the workspace.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for machine servicing.
• Assist in the onboarding of new staff in the production line.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide feedback to management on process improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Technical diploma in related fields preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.

Certifications

• Health and Safety Compliance Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
