Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team in Durban. You will play a critical role in the software development life cycle by ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will conduct thorough testing, identify bugs, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for delivering exceptional software products.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases and results.
  • Work closely with developers to assist in resolving identified issues.
  • Conduct validation and verification activities to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Lead testing efforts on assigned projects and report on the progress.
  • Provide training and support to junior QA testers as necessary.
  • Ensure all testing procedures align with industry standards.
  • Analyze and identify testing requirements based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as a quality gatekeeper to ensure quality standards are met prior to release.
  • Monitor software quality metrics and KPIs to drive improvement.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
  • Certification in Agile methodologies is beneficial
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in QA roles
