Job Description

We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Pietermaritzburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, providing preventive care, and promoting health education within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a clinic setting.
  • Perform routine check-ups and physical exams.
  • Identify preventive health measures for patients.
  • Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  • Stay updated on the latest medical practices and technologies.
  • Engage patients in discussions about their health and treatment plans.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
  • Postgraduate qualification in family medicine is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience as a General Practitioner
