We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our Cape Town team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions that ensure optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead network installation and configuration projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network staff.
• Stay updated on the latest networking trends and technologies.
• Assist with network budget planning and management.
• Create scripts for automating network tasks.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex support issues.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Network Engineering certification or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a network support role

Technical Skills

• Network Design
• Load Balancers

Soft Skills

• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Cloud Networking: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and networking principles.
• CCNP Certification: Cisco Certified Network Professional certification is preferred.
