We are seeking a skilled Leather Scraper to join our production team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scraping and preparing leather hides, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hides by scraping and cleaning to ensure quality.
• Utilize hand tools and machines safely and effectively.
• Perform quality checks during the scraping process.
• Keep the workspace organized and free of hazards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Maintain machinery and tools in good working condition.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Leather Scraper or in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Hand Tool Proficiency
• Machine Operation

Languages

• English: Fluent
