Job Description

As a General Practitioner (GP) at Healthcare Group in Durban, you will deliver comprehensive healthcare services to our patients. Be the first point of contact for patient diagnosis and health advice, creating a welcoming environment for all.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients of all ages with diverse health issues.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to facilitate treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Partner with healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary care.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Address patient queries and provide reassurance regarding their health.
  • Engage in community outreach and health awareness projects.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations.
  • Support administrative processes, including scheduling and follow-ups.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Practitioner
