Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for optimising production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring quality standards are met. You will work collaboratively with various departments to enhance operational workflows and contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects and processes.
• Create efficiency models and cost-benefit analyses.
• Develop and manage project plans to meet production deadlines.
• Serve as a liaison between design and production teams.
• Investigate and implement automation solutions where applicable.
• Champion quality improvement initiatives across the facility.
• Regularly review methodologies and recommend adjustments.
• Collaborate with QA teams on product audits.
• Participate in continuous improvement workshops.
• Facilitate risk assessments for new operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering or related field
