Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Data Scientist where you will use your skills in programming, statistical analysis, and machine learning to derive meaningful insights from data. This essential role involves working closely with other departments in Gqeberha to facilitate data-informed business strategies, ensuring our clients receive the maximum value from their data resources.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and patterns.
• Create and manage databases to store and retrieve data needed for analysis.
• Optimize existing machine learning algorithms for performance and efficiency.
• Document processes, models, and code to facilitate team collaboration.
• Monitor model performance over time and refine as necessary for new data.
• Liaise with clients to understand their data needs and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Data Science or Statistics preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data science roles
