We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing both residential and commercial properties, and a passion for innovative design. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into stunning architectural solutions that reflect functionality and style.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design processes from concept to completion.
• Ensure all designs are functional, aesthetic, and aligned with client needs.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction teams.
• Participate in project reviews and provide strategic insights.
• Coordinate with local authorities for necessary permits and approvals.
• Evaluate material and product choices for sustainability.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Professional studies in architecture is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software
• Sustainable Design Principles

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Technical knowledge of local building codes: Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in South Africa.
