Join our Durban team as an Insurance Underwriter, where you will assess applicants' data and analyze potential risks to help in determining the terms of their insurance policies. You'll work closely with various departments to develop effective solutions that meet our clients' needs while safeguarding the company from undue risk. We're looking for a detail-oriented individual with a background in financial analysis or insurance.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze insurance applications for completeness and accuracy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in underwriting within the insurance sector

Certifications

• Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management (FIRM)

Languages
