Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in East London. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical design, project management, and technical problem-solving. You will be responsible for developing and implementing engineering solutions that meet client specifications and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop design specifications and perform feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to define project requirements.
• Utilize CAD software for mechanical design and modeling.
• Implement and manage test procedures to validate designs.
• Analyze data and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and resources.
• Oversee installations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Document engineering processes, ensuring all findings are recorded accurately.
• Contribute to budget management and project scheduling.
• Participate in project meetings and provide expert input on mechanical issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering
