We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Specialist to join our Cape Town office. This role involves managing tax compliance, providing strategic tax planning advice, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough tax analysis and prepare compliance documentation.
• Participate in strategic tax planning initiatives.
• Review and monitor tax compliance workflows.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Assist with tax audits by preparing required documentation.
• Prepare reports summarizing tax liabilities and benefits.
• Advise clients on changes in tax legislation and potential impacts.
• Train junior staff on tax compliance protocols.
• Support clients in understanding their tax obligations.
• Contribute to special projects related to tax strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Taxation would be an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in taxation or accounting
