Job Description

As a Mobile Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in our construction operations by efficiently operating heavy machinery like bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your work will directly contribute to the successful grading and excavation of sites, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully operate heavy machinery including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders.
• Maintain the equipment and report any mechanical issues.
• Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations.
• Transport materials and equipment as directed on-site.
• Interpret site plans and implement grading and levelling as per specifications.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation during projects.
• Keep records of any incidents or accidents while operating machinery.
• Assist in project planning and communicate effectively with supervisors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement methods in site operations and practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Heavy equipment operation certification or equivalent experience

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a construction environment.
