We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage our shipping operations and ensure timely delivery of goods in Port Elizabeth. You will be the linchpin between our suppliers, warehouse, and transportation teams, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the logistics department.
• Investigate delivery delays and develop strategies to resolve issues.
• Implement efficient logistics management practices.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting logistics expenses.
• Coordinate cross-docking and warehousing activities.
• Ensure safety and compliance in all logistics operations.
• Act as a liaison between the warehouse and transportation teams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about shipping regulations and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management

Technical Skills

• SAP
• Data Analysis

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Freight Forwarding: Experience in coordinating with freight forwarders for shipping.
• Six Sigma Certification: Certification in Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
