We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical design and development, able to tackle challenges in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing mechanical systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance procedures for mechanical equipment.
• Provide technical support to production teams.
• Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures.
• Implement engineering best practices to improve efficiency.
• Train junior engineers and support staff in technical skills.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing environment.

• CAD Software

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
