Join our passionate team in Cape Town as an Environmental Consultant where you will focus on environmental assessments and compliance. You will guide clients in implementing sustainable practices and help them navigate environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental audits and assessments.
• Prepare environmental management plans and reports.
• Assist clients in navigating complex regulatory requirements.
• Develop public awareness campaigns and workshops.
• Enhance client relations through responsive communication.
• Promote innovative solutions to reduce environmental footprints.
• Review and improve existing policies and procedures.
• Mentor junior staff and provide training as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or related field
• PhD in Environmental Science is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

• Environmental Regulations

Certifications

• LEED Green Associate
• Professional Engineer (PE) License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in environmental modelling software: Experience with software such as SimaPro or GaBi to conduct life cycle assessments.
• Background in climate change adaptation strategies: Knowledge of strategies to adapt to climate change impacts in various sectors.
