Responsibilities

• Review policy applications and medical records for risk evaluation.
• Communicate with clients and brokers regarding underwriting decisions.
• Utilize underwriting software to analyze risk management data.
• Monitor claim experiences and underwriting results.
• Facilitate the approval process for high-value or complex insurance applications.
• Collaborate with reinsurance companies as necessary.
• Support the development and implementation of new underwriting guidelines.
• Assist in the review of current policy pricing structures.
• Keep abreast of legislation affecting the insurance industry.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in underwriting or risk management

Certifications

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
