Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist who will be responsible for managing patient prescriptions, monitoring patient progress, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret prescription orders to ensure accuracy.
• Assess and evaluate patient health needs and medication usage.
• Promote efficient medication management practices.
• Provide safe and effective clinical pharmacy services.
• Train pharmacy staff on best practices and clinical guidelines.
• Support quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred

• Medication Management

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
