We are seeking a Clinical Research Associate to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you'll be pivotal in planning, conducting, and managing clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocol adherence.
Responsibilities
Lead the operational management of clinical trials, from initiation through closeout.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance participant recruitment.
Monitor trial activities to ensure compliance with study protocols.
Prepare and submit necessary documentation to regulatory bodies.
Conduct quality assurance checks on data and documentation.
Support the development of clinical trial budgets and timelines.
Work closely with the data management team to ensure accuracy of clinical data.
Engage with study sponsors and provide regular updates on trial progress.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Nursing, Medicine, or Health Sciences
Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Research is a plus
Experience
3+ years of experience in clinical research or a clinical environment
