Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our passionate team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care for pets and animals. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various health conditions, educating pet owners, and promoting overall animal wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate pets' health conditions through examination and diagnostics.
  • Provide counsel to pet owners regarding preventative health measures.
  • Implement treatment protocols for various ailments.
  • Manage follow-up care for surgeries or treatments.
  • Maintain compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
  • Facilitate workshops on animal care for the community.
  • Collaborate with external veterinarians as needed.
  • Support client education on pet nutrition and behavior.
  • Document all interactions in the veterinary management system.
  • Engage with pet owners to foster long-term relationships.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
  • Specialization in a particular area of veterinary medicine is a plus.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
