Job Description

As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and analyzing cardiac activity. Your expertise will help detect abnormalities and ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac monitoring procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of patient data and treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Monitor patient responses and report significant changes to the medical team.
• Assist in the training of junior staff on monitoring techniques and equipment usage.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Completion of an accredited program in cardiovascular technology is an advantage.

Experience

• Experience with Holter monitoring and echocardiography preferred.

Technical Skills

• Medical terminology
• Remote monitoring technologies

Certifications

• NHA certification preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent
