Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will play a critical role in advising clients on environmental policies and compliance issues. You will assess the environmental impact of various projects, ensuring sustainable practices are upheld.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the environmental impact of proposed projects through thorough assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental legislation and best practices.
• Prepare and present findings to clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Support clients in achieving sustainability certifications and permits.
• Engage with community members and address environmental concerns.
• Assist in the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs).
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Policy or Management

Experience

• 5+ years in a consulting role focusing on environmental impact assessments
