Job Description

Eco Solutions SA is looking for an Environmental Engineer to contribute to various ecological projects aimed at enhancing environmental health within Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will take a lead role in designing and executing projects that involve pollution control, resource management, and environmental protection strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of environmental management systems
• Take responsibility for project timelines and deliverables
• Draft proposals for new environmental projects and funding opportunities
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and interns
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental legislation and advances
• Facilitate workshops and presentations to enhance community awareness

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental projects

Technical Skills

• Environmental Risk Assessment
• Soil and Water Testing
• Ecological Restoration

Certifications

• LEED Certification
• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
