Job Description

As a Veterinary Technician at Animal Care Clinic, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our furry patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting veterinarians in exams, performing diagnostic tests, and ensuring the overall wellbeing of animals in our facility.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians in diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
• Update and maintain patient health records.
• Perform routine preventative care and physical examinations.
• Coordinate with clients regarding appointments and follow-ups.
• Help maintain a safe and sterile environment within the clinic.

Requirements

Education

• Veterinary Technology Diploma
• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related is a plus

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital

Technical Skills

• Veterinary software
• Surgical assistance

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
• Pet First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
