We are on the lookout for dedicated Machine Feeders and Offbearers to join our team at Horser Up. This role is crucial for ensuring the well-being of our horses through feeding, training, and care activities. Responsibilities

• Provide training for horses to optimize performance in various events.
• Ensure horses are fed properly and on schedule.
• Assess and report on health issues to the veterinarian.
• Educate riders on horse care and perfect riding methods.
• Ensure that the stables are clean and all equipment is properly stored.
• Assist with horse evaluations and training adjustments.
• Work with veterinarians and equine specialists when necessary.
• Maintain all necessary records related to horse care.
• Stay updated on equine health trends and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Matric
• Certifications in Equine Sciences or Animal Behaviour advantageous

Experience

• At least 2 years practical experience in horse care and training.

Technical Skills

• Grooming Techniques
• Equine Nutrition

• Analytical Skills
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Equine Nutrition Certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Equine Behaviour: Knowledge of equine psychology to enhance training.
• Experience with various horse breeds: Familiarity with the specific needs of different breeds.
