CNC Operator

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC machinery, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring precision in production processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery for precision part manufacturing.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Keep accurate records of production data and machine settings.
• Assist in training new operators on machinery operation.
• Work closely with quality assurance to meet production targets.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Support efforts for lean manufacturing practices.
• Monitor machine performance and report any issues to the supervisor.

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Robotics: Experience working with robotics in a manufacturing context.
• Prior Experience in Quality Assurance: Background in quality assurance to enhance product standards.
