Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Respond to emergencies and assess urgent patient needs.
  • Educate patients about medication, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Record and report changes in patient conditions to doctors.
  • Provide support and advocacy for patient and family needs.
  • Assist with basic patient care procedures, such as bathing and grooming.
  • Manage medical equipment accurately and efficiently.
  • Lead or assist patient therapy sessions as required.
  • Engage in community health education events.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse licensure in South Africa
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in nursing
