Job Description

An experienced and knowledgeable Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will develop individualized treatment plans, implement therapy sessions, and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in patients.
  • Develop tailored therapy sessions based on therapeutic approaches.
  • Monitor and report on patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication strategies with families to improve therapy outcomes.
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in patient files.
  • Provide support to patients and families in understanding communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective treatment plans.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred
