Job Description

As a Rod Mill Tender, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of rod mill machinery. This crucial role requires monitoring machine performance to ensure production targets are met while adhering to stringent safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor rod mill equipment to ensure optimal production rates.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.
• Document process parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new staff.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate (or equivalent)

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal processing.

Advantageous
