Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our passionate team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to animal welfare and experience in providing comprehensive veterinary care. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal conditions, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on animal health.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose health issues in animals and design treatment protocols.
  • Perform routine check-ups and vaccinations.
  • Perform emergency surgeries and critical care procedures.
  • Develop and implement preventative health plans.
  • Maintain a clean and safe clinic environment.
  • Participate in continuing professional development and seminars.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Postgraduate studies in a related field is an advantage

  • 5+ years in a clinical setting
