Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will manage financial records, prepare and analyse financial reports, and ensure compliance with local regulations. Responsibilities

• Monitor cash flow and prepare financial forecasts.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Track and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare VAT submissions and ensure compliance.
• Implement cost-saving measures and financial efficiency.
• Provide financial training to junior staff members.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Generate detailed financial reports for stakeholders.
• Review and enhance internal financial controls.
• Support strategic planning by providing financial analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• A master's degree in related field is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment

Technical Skills

• Budgeting
• Forecasting

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• ACCA qualification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with advanced Excel functions: Proficient in using advanced Excel for financial modeling.
