Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist at our Cape Town location, you will be responsible for providing clinical interventions that promote mental health recovery. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of demographics and present mental health conditions, facilitating healing and empowerment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate clients’ psychological issues through interviews, tests, and observations.
  • Provide compassionate and culturally sensitive therapy tailored to each individual.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to integrate care for clients.
  • Conduct workshops and seminars on mental health topics in the community.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed to support client safety.
  • Stay current with advancements in psychological practices and research.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's or Doctorate in Psychology
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in a mental health setting
Technical Skills
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Psychological Assessment

Certifications
  • Registered Clinical Psychologist
  • Therapy certification in a specialized area (e.g., trauma, children)
