Job Description

We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator to manage and enhance our fundraising initiatives in Durban. This role requires a proactive individual who can develop strategies to secure funding, engage with donors, and promote our mission effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead targeted fundraising campaigns to achieve revenue goals.
  • Work with the finance team to track donations and grants.
  • Identify new fundraising opportunities and create strategic plans.
  • Collaborate with program staff to align fundraising with community needs.
  • Provide training and support to volunteers involved in fundraising.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Communications, or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in non-profit fundraising

Certifications
  • Fundraising Certificate from an accredited institution
