We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and solid surgical skills. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions in pets and livestock, ensuring their overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and emergency surgical procedures.
• Provide vaccinations and preventative health care.
• Assess animal health, conduct examinations, and develop treatment plans.
• Work alongside a compassionate team to ensure optimal animal care.
• Educate clients on responsible pet ownership and care.
• Stay informed on veterinary best practices and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Masters in Veterinary Medicine is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in veterinary medicine

Certifications

• Registered Veterinarian with the South African Veterinary Council

Languages
