Job Description

We're seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. You will be responsible for streamlining our operations, enhancing deployment processes, and implementing automation. Ideal candidates will have a thorough understanding of cloud services and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure robust application security.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Develop monitoring and logging solutions for systems.
• Guide team members in DevOps best practices and principles.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles

Technical Skills

• CI/CD Pipelines
• Linux Systems Administration

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Microsoft Azure Administration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Git: Extensive knowledge of version control using Git.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible: Ability to configure and manage systems with Ansible.
