Job Description

Join our growing team at Local Bookkeepers Inc. as a Bookkeeper where you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and managing client accounts. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills, ensuring that our clients' financial data is both accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide support during audits and internal reviews.
  • Track project budgets and report on variances.
  • Assist in training junior finance staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Technical Skills
  • Sage Accounting Software
  • Tax Preparation Software

Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous
