Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer at our Port Elizabeth office, you will be involved in all stages of project execution from conception through to implementation, ensuring innovative designs meet industry standards and efficiency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from concept through to execution.
• Develop project specifications and budgets.
• Collaborate across departments to align engineering strategies.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on technological advancements in mechanical engineering.
• Facilitate training sessions for team members.
• Review and approve engineering designs before production.
• Provide input on project scope and resource allocation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering registration is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering projects.

• Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics

Languages

• English: Fluent
