Job Description

As a Pump Operator, you'll be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of our tank farm facilities. Your role will involve monitoring systems, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while collaborating with your team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of tanks and equipment to identify issues.
• Assist in emergency response procedures during incidents.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule repairs.
• Train new staff on operational safety standards.
• Ensure optimal workflow in the tank farm to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical or trade qualification preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience with hazardous materials handling

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation
• Hazardous materials handling

Certifications

• Forklift certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
